Colt 6920 and 6940 at CRAFM

I would like to know how these made it into Canada as well. I thought that any rifle or carbine built by Colt Defense was banned from export as significant military equipment.

Not to mention the "military" chamber specs... you won't find ".223" stamped anywhere on these rifles...
 
not to sound like ding dong but, whats so special about this rifle?

The 6920 is as close as someone in street clothes can get to an honest-to-#### M4... without the group therapy switch that is. I have one, not a group therapy switch, but a 6920... the upper is actually stamped M4 just above the gas tube...

i see........ I'm thinking of a tavor right now but I guess it doesnt hurt to go check out this rifle.
 
kenjuudo. Yes that was what I thought that anything marked 5.56 Nato was not exportable. My new Robarm XCR is marked 223 Rem. I think Robarm had them roll marked as such for US export laws.
