Can anyone confirm the size of the fire control pins?
Wondered that myself. I am a little weary putting the $ down without knowing that there is at least one in Canada somewhere. Also, do we know if there will be a barrel wrench/tools available for the 6940??

And just for clarity the fire control pins are the trigger/disconnect pin, and the hammer pin, NOT the front and rear take-down pins.
There is about a .020 difference in size, with the "mil spec" pins being around .154" and the newer Colt "commercial" size being about .174".
My Sabre Commando has " &/NP 5.56x45mm NATO LP/05 " engraved on the barrel. Lucky me, Wolverine was able to import these from the UK. SDI must make them there otherwise wouldn't be able to sell them here (or England for that matter). Am damn glad, 'cause this is an immaculate AR subcarbine variant.kenjuudo. Yes that was what I thought that anything marked 5.56 Nato was not exportable. My new Robarm XCR is marked 223 Rem. I think Robarm had them roll marked as such for US export laws.
Milspec on the 6940. I measured.
I used their search function and had about the same luck. Any chance you could supply a link? They have pictures on AR15.com measuring the pins.

Further search found some of the 6940 threads. Couldn't find the pic thread, but found discussion.
Sounds like the barrel extension is different than the present style. Therefore not as simple as a barrel swap. Also guys talking about a barrel tool, and not easily obtainable as of yet (2009-10-27 posts)
