It's kind of like cars isn't it? Lots of people look at the Corvettes and Ferraris and Porsche and Rolls Royce... I could keep going but you get my point... and they dream of one day owning one but realize it will never happen. It isn't expected that everyone will own one... they are built and sold with a certain portion of the market in mind.
The majority drive much less expensive cars... some are happy with what they drive... some are unhappy but have no choice... some find it a temporary choice until they can (and do) move up so to speak.
In the end though they all do the same thing really... go from point A to point B. But just because a Yugo, a Focus and a Ferrari all burn gas and go from A to B definitely does not make them equal... not in any stretch of the imagination. There are many who can (and do) argue that the Ferrari is inferior to XYZ vehicle... and in some respects it may well be... (gets terrible gas mileage, has little trunk space, not exactly "quiet" inside... but the to person who owns one it's not inferior... and he (or she) views anyone who criticizes their purchase as nothing more than jealousy (wether it is or isnt' that's how they see it).
The SCAR or the PS90 or the Knights SR-25 or any of a long list of other "high end, high priced" firearms are not for everyone... that's just a reality. Their manufacturers don't expect the average person to buy one... get over it. They are being marketed to a small percentage of customers who have disposable income and for whom price is not an object. That's the same with Ferrari, Rolls Royce, and many of the firearms companies.
If all it's about is price then buy a Norinco AR-15... they function... they hit what you aim them at... they pretty much do what most other AR's do... why would anyone buy anything else? But they do
That's my thoughts... I don't put down the people who can't afford them and I'm sorry if it upsets some people to see them or if some people feel they are overpriced... they are what they are. Get over it.
I make no apologies for selling this stuff... I actually quite enjoy bringing high end products to discerning buyers. If some people think that buyers of these firearms are stupid then so am I because I have quite a collection of these "high priced toys" myself. Sometimes I wonder if I'm stupid too... but it hasn't stopped me. I guess I'm just lucky enough to be able to afford them.
What I really wonder is: How many of those who say XYZ is junk or overpriced or not worth the money, etc... how many of those same people would buy one of each if tonight they won a lottery and had 20 or 30 million dollars to play with. If money wasn't the issue... would the opinions and comments change? I suspect for many they would
What's that old adage of the SuperModels: "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful"?
Well don't hate us that can afford the expensive toys. Besides what else are we going to do with the money... can't take it with us and I'll be damned if I won't have some fun before I'm gone.
