Being fairly new to deer hunting (last year was my first solid attempt at deer) I'm wondering if this weather we're having in Sask, specifically in the central part of it, is affecting the rut.
I've tramped about on foot, sat and glassed areas, and drove around a bit. Should I be seeing the deer out and about in the daytime, or not yet? Anyone from Saskatoon, Duck Lake to North of Prince Albert have any ideas on this??
I've noticed lots of crop still standing in fields or swathed.....makes it hard to tramp. Is my area perhaps low on deer....have noticed trails/rubs/deer in October?? Any thoughts appreciated.
