Just flush the rifle with HOT water after each use. The barrel, gas tube, bolt, bolt carrier, and the receiver just need a hot water flush to wash the salts away. And since the water is hot, it evaporates near instantly. Dry any remaining water, run a few solvent patches through to get the carbon and copper out, lube and re-assemble.I like to do the patches first to get any thick deposits out, then i flush with the water, but its up to you what way you like. Once you get the hang of it it takes less then 15 minutes with an SKS. If your in a really dry area, you can wait a few bit. If your in a humid area, you will see rust form in a few hours. Even if a little rust does form, chances are it only superficial and will rub off with your fingers.
