My magnificent .375 Ruger!

In all fairness shouldn't you have posted it next to it's parent the H&H mag?

Bob

Oooooooooohh...look at the shiny new cartridge. Just look at it. It is shiny and new.

On a side note, what's happening with the .416 Ruger and the bad feeding problems with that cartridge/Ruger rifle combo? Oh yes, and I hearsay there is some problem with the barrels on the RCM...:D

Apparently on a few, and that was very few, there was a concern that the screw holes for the rear sights were drilled and tapped too deeply into the barrel.....if the screws were sticking thru into the rifling they would scratch the fired bullet thus causing a slight inaccuracy issue, not to mention tearing hell out of the patches when cleaning :)
I sent mine away at Ruger's expense and got a clean bill of health.
The serial numbers concerned involved a few sold in Canada and a small shipment to Australia....

Interesting to see Ruger's rendition of dangerous game sights:

Just when you thought something couldn't get any beefier... That rear mount's proportioned like an ##### temple. Those ain't gonna move just 'cause they got smacked against a doorjamb.

...take a look at the Ruger RSM! The sight rib is integral to the barrel, it does indeed, get beefier alright. ;)

Thanks for clearing that up.

Ardent- the RSM is beautiful, there is no doubt about that. I fondled one in .458 Lott...it almost had to come home with me!
