I'm in the market for a new full size 9mm pistol and I can't decide. I have a subcompact Glock which I love, but I want something full size for plinking. I've had Beretta's, a compact Sig, Baby Eagle, and a few others. I just want some inspiration. Tell me what you like about your full size 9mm, and why. Show some pics, share a story, whatever. I just want to consider everything before I buy a new full size 9mm. I want to get something to keep for awhile.
It needs to be:
-accurate (adj. Sights a plus but not ness.)
-ergonomic
-price really not a consideration (unless ridiculous)
-can be new/ old

looking for opinions. Help a nutter out.

So didn't like Berettas?

I just got a CZ 75b SS and so far pretty impressed with it. I had M&P9 it was a good gun! Sig ia another good choice.

If you like your subcompact glock get a full sized G17 then. You get the same ergonomics and muscle memory from your other one already.

Allan!

I never really got that line of thinking...why not get something different? Don't limit yourself, try different guns, learn from it. you never know even if you like gun x_x maybe you'll find something that fits you even better ;)

9mm full size

I have CZ 75b stianless and it is great a full size 1911 is also great to shoot I have STI Legacy a very accurate gun. Closest STI does now is probably the Sentry. I just got a Dan Wesson Pointman 9 but the gods are against me shooting it. I have got to the range twice no ROs and work or holiday interfered with other range days. I need more range time. All these are beatiful guns in my opinion.

CZ 85C fits your wants/needs. Also the CZ Shadow is very popular but does not come factory equipped with adjustable sights.

P7 H&K. (Hey you said price wasn't an issue) It's accurate and depending how big your hand is you can go with the P7M13 or for smaller hands go with the P7M8 or PSP. Still a compact firearm with a full size barrel. I love all of mine and most people that try them do too. There are a few NIB models once in a while that poke up on the EE but will likely end up with a used model as they are out of production currently.

What line of thinking, sticking with the same brand of pistol and keeping the same manual of arms? What's not to get. It minimizes training time for both operation and maintenance. For some their firearms are tools not toys. Fit is not important for marksmanship, mastering the fundamentals is.

Back to the OT. I agree with the above, if you run a Glock now, get the full size. If you want to shake it up, try something else.

But worth every penny. Wonderful guns. That said, I can't afford one either, So I went with the CZ Shadow. Similar design, wonderful trigger, fits my hand.

Worth the money if you are intent on stationary target shooting. Even still, the shooter makes the shot, not the gear.
