Which ammunition is more suitable for Norc CQ311

Since i might be getting an AR clone. I started doing some research on the rifle it self and the ammunition it uses. I noticed .223 and 5.56 is not the same thing. So which ammunition would be more suitable for the CQ rifle.

thanks

No ammo. Norinco is junk. Pony up the extra $500 bucks and buy a quality rifle. Then use whatever .223/5.56 in it you want.

It explains it very well in fact. Good post. Having said that, and despite the fact that the link is FULL of experts indicating that issues can arise from the practice at hand, these guys here aren't going to pay it any mind... after all, it's just a myth, and besides they have all the answers they want (vs. need) and are far, far too cool...

Yep thats me, too f**king cool for school, but thanks for exposing the grievous folly of my ways, I guess I will have to sell all my 'Damascus Barrels':jerkit:

All of us who have been shooting the wrong ammo in the wrong barrel are now going to retroactively suffer some sort of extreme failure, now that the epxerts have made their proclaimation. Repent!

Ok guys... then explain the motivation behind all of the industry based suggestions that 5.56 in a .223 chamber can cause problems... Is it a conspiracy of some sort? Are there forces at work trying to trick us all into some paranoid sense of delusion? Is there some sort of hidden profit motive that has resulted in this endless string of unfounded claims...?

Maybe. You should get proof. First could try shooting 5.56x45mm ammunition in a barrel marked for .223 Rem and inform results.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with your theories. Just that facts will always kick the crap outta speculation. ;)

Cheerio!

point out that the Sporting Arms And Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute along with major ammunition manufacturers indicate the potential for problems, and my guess is that Adam and Jamie will have trouble classifying it as a "myth".

O H ..... N O O O O O O !!!!!!

You are the kind of guy who blindly sits at a red light in the middle of the night on a deserted road aren't you? Because to break the rules is simply unthinkable.

To prevent mindless litigation by morons.......

Do you follow every single rule ever created? Do you believe everything your government tells you? Do you think the authorites are infallible?

Cause that is the path you are suggesting we should all follow.

Personally I like to think for myself. Weigh the evidence and make an informed decision rather than just follow some rule that someone thought up.

What's there to litigate... if in your rebellious without a clue opinion this whole thing is simply a myth...?

Your admission that you'll pick and choose which laws you obey just because there might not be anyone else around is telling... but in this case we're talking about the possible application of the laws physics, which not even you, can break...

Have you ever been hit by lightning, or know anyone who has...? I'm guessing not, and so by your logic I'm betting we'll see you happily swinging golf clubs in thunder storms... 'cause you've never seen proof that it's a stupid thing to do...
