**Huge CGN .264 Bullet Test Result** (lots of pics!)

I know this is an old, old thread, but maybe Bcsteve would like to update his findings with the Nosler Accubonds, Swift A-Frame & scirocco's? I am sure there are othere new bullets that could be tested as well. A very good read. Thanks for the info.

Send me some and I'll test them!:D Actually I'll be doing a .444 Marlin test in a few weeks, stay tuned for results.

BCSteve, can you give me an idea of how you set up the newspaper target blocks? looking at doing a identical report come spring time with .35 cal offerings using my .358 Norma Mag.

I'm glad someone revived this thread, otherwise I would have never seen it (being fairly new to the forums and all). I've been planning on reloading for a while and it looks like the TSX's are where the money's at... hopefully my deer gun will shoot them though.

Holy Crap, I have been hoping someone would do a .444 marlin test. I have a 1965 that I'd love to know what to buy for. It came with 100 loaded rounds of 265 hornady and a few 240 remingtons. But there are so many more component bullets out there that I'd love to try including some 300 grainers. I'd love to see what some 200 grainers and some possibly lead loads and hard-cast lead loads.
I can then use the info to decide what kind of loads to try next. I'd love to try some hard cast lead loads. NOW I'M REALLY EXCITED and can't wait. Thanks for all of this BC STEVE!!! I wish I lived closer to you to volunteer my rifle. It has a 24" barrel that would simulate pressure barrels.

Let's make this more interesting. I could contribute pulled military 140gr FMJ, and how about cast 170gr bullets? :D

Very well done. It is nice to see the bullets and thier various degrees of expansion and weight retension.

I was certainly impressed with the expansion of the Naturalist bullets. Very uniform in the expansion, not sure about their aerodynamics for extended ranges but certainly great for on game performance.
