Steyr SSG 04/08 and Sako TRG 22

PGW ( makers of Coyote and Timberwolf ) also provide Premier Recticle scopes. I've never seen one but I've read that they are very good. I saw in a mag featuring the Tubbs 2000 that the featured rifle was wearing one.

Yes the only negative I have heard is windage is not as "clicky" as most would like but PR got right on it and it's fixed already :p

Thanks,

That's another reason why I'm not that fond of NF's - the turret increments aren't as "clicky", they're kind of smooth because there is a greater angle between increments. It almost feels as if you could put the turret on a setting between hashmarks, although I've never tried to do it.

Should be ordering the Premier Scope in next couple weeks, until then someone at the club was kind enough to lend me their 3-9 bushnell :p

My only concern with the mount is getting the proper eye relief, as rail space is not in large order on my rifle, but I trust everything will be okay as a PR is only a tiny bit larger then a S&B of the same Magnification :p

Hopefully this weekend I can go over to the guys house who was kind enough to hold it until my PAL goes through and take some pictures!! But at same time I don't wanna bug him But I promise before the end of the year there will be lots of nice pictures. Sorry to all anxiously awaiting pictures :p

Please check out the thread I list below maybe you can help:

Hey guys.
I just blindly ordered a Steyr SSG 04 in 300 win mag.
Tell me I've done the right thing?

** clarification, I have a SSG 69 and a scout so I know the Steyr quality **
