I was looking at the future weapons :)P) episode about the new micro tavor and just noticed the night vision that can be added behind the sight. just wondering can you get that?

I'm guessing it'll be a NATO spec w/the Tavor rear mount. Not cheap if you can get one, my guess $5k +.

Me too. I figure this way I can easily swap around optics, and I can even try the M21 on other firearms like my non restricted Storm. Plus it makes putting a scope on the Tavor a lot easier. I have a Falcon 1.5-5x sitting around for a few yeas now without a rifle to go on (Was going to use it on a Type97 but we know how that worked out). It might work well with the Tavor.

It would work great on the Storm or any CQB type rifle or even a shotgun

That magnifier is a joke for a $1000 bucks. You can order a Trijicon true 1x4 green chevron scope for $850 from P&D.

From the answers I got they really dont know WTF is going to show up at all and whats worse is I paid for it not knowing either :)

It might be the shorter picatinny rail with the BUIS or the longer rail without the BUIS. Either way its a better option to have the rail because then the Mepro 21 sight will have a picatinny base.
Then you atleast get the option of using the Mepro 21 on something else if you wanted to.

I applaud them for placing the order, but my $3k+ is waiting until I see some pix of what's in the container. For all we know it may look like...

Yeah I paid in full too, but I don't care what config I get as long as I can get an eotech with magnifier on it and it's non restricted.

I'm with you on that. After a number of failed attempts to buy a Tavor in the past, I paid in full and just want to get my name put on a reg certificate asap so that I don't have to worry about waiting another year or two. I'll sort out the optics later, once I've had a chance to try out the default setup and test some alternatives.
