Tt33

Just rec'd my TT33 from Tradex today to replace/upgrade my Norinc clone M54, just by looks you can see the better quality and can't wait to get it out to the range; the 7.62x25 is such a fun round, everybody likes trying it out. The 9mm barrel I have for my Norinc also fits just right into the Russian and I have both mags; I just love versatility!

Looks like "accounting or website glitch" was wishfull thinking on my part. Interesting how they sold out over the same period that they were closed for their distributors gathering/show!

Replacing the bbl with a 9mm version was news to me. Anyone know where to get a bbl?

Thanks

Try Lever arms in vancouver, I'm pretty sure they have 9mm mags for the tok and they still may have some barrels. I've got one that was part of a combo nork deal with them years ago but never really appreciated the 9mm option as much as the 762X25.

Well.... after chasing DHL since Monday, I finally took possession of my 7.62X25 ammo shipment.

Man it's the skankiest ammo I have ever laided eyes on. Looks like it's been dredged from the bottom of some lake!

Hope I haven't purchased 1000 duds.

Oh ya.... did the magnet test, appears to be steel core.

Actually there is no core of steel. It is lead. The jacket is steel.

Hmmmm... will have to disect one of these puppies and check it out. After cleaning one sample up, the casing appears to be brass. This surprised me! Will be interesting to find out what primer type is in place.

I just got my TT in the mail today! Took the afternoon off of work to get it, as I wasn't sure how the ATT worked for pickup at the PO versus home delivery.

It is a 1945 and it looks great! Now I await the ammo.....

My 1st thousand rds was gritty like you said and my nork digested it no problem( which was kinda surprising)
The sealed crate rds were way better as far as corrosion.

How did you manage to predict when it would be delivered?

CP delivered my TEC TT33 yesterday. I'm very impressed with my purchase. Almost mint as far as I can tell. Also, found a 9mm bbl and 2 9mm mags on the EE, so I'm set if no more 7.62X25 shows up.
