Very cool - I appreciate the drum mag, and who knows - some day you may enjoy it in all its glory.
$250 is a nice bottle of scotch, this mag will last a long time.
I wish the mag did only cost $250.....
It all looks good!
Tell me about the difference/similarity between your G36P and a G36E. I've googled the P and can't find a lot of information. Who was it made for, etc?
Ah, well - whatever the cost - it is all relative
When you buy a $9000 gun - this is all a very silly topic to even mention in the thread in my opinion.
Hey Koldt,
Didn't you used to own a full-size G36 a couple of years ago? If I remember correctly, the G36P was part of a limited Canadian G36 production run that CGN Whylook brought in several years back. I recall there were two runs scheduled and that the second got cancelled. There were some wierd rumours about some G36s squeaking through from movie production companies. But, if that is true, then I am sure this ain't one of them. I think the P refers the semi-auto trigger group. What might the P stand for in German?
Mine is just a converted SL8. I'd love to own yours. Very cool.Hey Koldt,

I thought about that, but I dunno. There isn't any mention anywhere in official HKdom about that letter designation. Maybe the importer had them done, to satisfy some goofy import decision.Polizei?

I also got to get me a Classic Green to fit another Swiss "accessory".

It's a real G36E barrel.Koldt, that's the best looking conversion I have seen. Did you get an actual G36 barrel, or did you get it milled? Looks authentic.
It's a real G36E barrel.
Must have been pricey. It wouldn't surprise me if people had $5K or more in a good SL8 conversion.
