How much interest in a Canadian limited edition Ruger No.1?

No, it's the right calibre. The point of this is to get it in .303British for people who want it in .303British. E.g. not you.

They already make it in lots of other calibres, and if you don't like those, start up a project to get 250 people interested in a special edition in the calibre you like.

I had a good look at the various models on the Ruger website. In the poll, I voted for the 1S with a 24" barrel. The 1A with the 22" barrel would be a very nice also. The RSI is not my cup of tea. The calibre is right for a Canadian/Commonwealth rifle.

may as well ask for it in a Canadian cartridge...how about the 280 Ross?....bullets might be a bit of a problem though...don't know if anyone is making a .288" bullet these days..but if you think you can convince Ruger to build the rifle I'm sure you can convince Hornady to make a few million bullets....:D..or just get Ruger to build a 280 Ross chamber with a .284" groove diameter barrel....;)

Lets stick to the question at hand, that is the poll on the model to be made. Not on calibers we would like it to be made in. And that looks like a run between the standard stocked model with the longer barrel lengths or the rsi with the short barrel.

I have to make a few more calls this week, so more orders may be forth coming. If you know anyone who is not on this site, spread the word. A limited run is just that; once it's filled, that could be it...
I had a few people try to place their order through me & to keep things simple I have redirected them to Clay at Prophet River. The reason being, that he will be collecting deposits eventually & keeping track of preference of model. I am not an employee or relative & am in no way affiliated with Clay's business. So as much as I'd like your money & would say a prayer to St. Jude in your name for a small donation... I'd say your best bet is to place your order through him.;)
