I have only seen (and handled but not fired ) one of those, property of a nameless board member ... I'm still somewhat unimpressed by the sand cast bolt carrier (or whatever that top cover thingy is called) .... I still want one though ...

The receivers as well as the bolt carriers are Forged and were left unfinished (late models) and not machined on the outside surface (not necessary, only cosmetic), but internal specs were as good as the early 1943 models and late qve45 that were fully machined.

The Russians watch the Internet too and know what they are worth. The question has been answered before by several dealers in the US who have seen them. The risk is too high as they want about $1,600,000 USD for a small container of RC G/K43's, and lots are rusted junk, some are good and some can go to the recycle bin. No one is willing to take that risk.
They are better to stay in Russia and Rot as some say.

They won't be the same as the Vopo East German G43's.
More like the RC K98's, nothing special and rough.
