Who pinned this?

Norc SKS, looking at the Russian SKS45 ID thread(I assumed importers would pin the same way), the pinning doesn't match any of em. Wondering if anyone has a similarly pinned mag.

Well I guess it's bound to happen with so many sks's coming in lately. Eventuly one with slip through the cracks.

It IS pinned. Just in a way I've never seen mentioned here.

This is typical of mags on Type 56 imported by Bell. Best blocking job of all, extension on the mag spring rivet restricts follower arm travel. Clean, effective and does not alter the external appearance.

An importer from Quebec, I pinned 2000 for a western importer with the carrier pinned with a 5/16" pin, he sent me 600 to complete and repair for him.

Agreed. Effective and unobtrusive.
MUCH better than the externally welded alterations on the rifles being currently sold.

Russian always pinned that way. This is the only problem with Russian sks.
