Let's see your 25+ yards target!

It was -5 today, no wind, but 100 rds slow fire is my limit too. Besides, my feet were getting cold. I tried shooting with gloves on, but I was all over the map. I loaded 2 mags at a time in the car, with the heat on, then would fire both mags, pick up the brass, go back to the car, and repeat. It worked out pretty well.
I have some 6 to a page 200yd targets that I cut into individual targets, and because they aren't the most visible at 50m, I put on a bright pink post-it note. I shoot a box per target, and only count the ones that hit anywhere on the paper. I shoot a CZ Shadow I picked up in May from Armco. I love this gun- thanks Gunnar!

It's getting better. Soon I'll be reloading and will be using a 124gr SWC, and I'm hoping to see improvement. For now though, these 115gr RN are cheap practice. Only 200 left, though...

i did this one on a 6'' target at 25 meters with my G22 .

4'' inch bullseye targets at 30 meters with a ruger target BB 5.5 and crappy bulk ammo.

I like this particular target for indoor shooting.

Amazing. I can do that at 7 yards with P226. I have to find a way to bench rest properly or find someone at the range that knows how and see if my reloads can shoot like that.

I've been shooting a 6 shot string at an IDPA target at 25m consisting of:
Draw, 3 shots (2 to the chest, 1 to the head), tactical reload, 3 shots (2 to the chest, 1 to the head).

I repeat this drill with 2 hands, strong hand, and weak hand.

My average points down for each string is:
2 hand: -9.857
Strong Hand only: -15.429
Weak Hand Only: -17.429

I have to fess up, I kind of have an advantage on my 10mm. Its set up with a shoulder stock. The gun still shoots great though & it gives me a big advantage with dealing with the recoil from the full power 10mm loads. Helps steady in offhand shooting as well. Ill bet some of you guys were shooting from the bench anyways..

Keep practicing, The best thing you can do is get a ruger .22 pistol & learn the basics. Then buy 5 bricks of ammo & burn them up. Post your targets after that, I assure you they will be awesome! Where else can i get a 10mm carbine, I had to make my own...

I have a P220 Classic in 22lr as well.

I haven't shot much of it yet b/c the cast boolits I make cost just as much as cheap Thunderbolts 22lr. I don't know if they'll group well but I'm pretty sure the ammo is more accurate than me.

I'll probably buy a few bricks of slightly better 22 ammo and practice with my P220 classic. Thunderbolts jam 10% of the time. ARRGH! Reloading plated bullets is fast, casting takes much more time.

Could have been worse. The 1911 guys have this for their compensated pistols.

Wanted to end the year with a bang so off to the range New Year's Eve to test my most recent lead molds.
Results at 25 mtrs. with my .45 acp Kimber Custom TLE/RL II.

Ammo are my reloads of 200 grn. Lead SWC using 5.4 gr. W231. One 8-round magazine - standing using Weaver stance with semi-rapid fire (intervals of less than 2 sec.)

I really needed the dayglo post-it today, it was really foggy and gloomy. I had a hard time seeing the hits on cardboard with the spotting scope.
