Really? In the s years I worked in the shops I never saw one .378 sell. I have seen 3 of the Rugers sell.
Ruger m77 Alaskan 375 ruger the top selling centerfire rifle in 2008 at the store I work at. It probably would of been again in 2009, but availability of ammo by Hornady hurt sales. Buyers like its powerful punch in a handy, weather resistant, affordable platform.

It is the fastest production .375 caliber, but it is not The King. For a cartridge to be The King, it has to actually be popular. Sorta like why the 30-06 is still the King of the .30 calibers, when there are faster cartridges available.
