How much interest in a Canadian limited edition Ruger No.1?

may I ask what questions are going to be asked

is it a choice of only 1 model, or perhaps 2

options

and so on, just wanting to narrow the issue of whether I am in or out,
what are your thoughts on where this might be headed,

we get to ................. perhaps or is it still real fuzzy

not trying to push, just curious

I voted for the rsi special stock model and have no deposit as of yet,

Jeff

Ok guys, this is getting weird.
Back on topic. What is the "grove" in the stock for?

The Ruger No.1-A Light Sporters with 22" bbl have the "Alexander Henry" forearm.
IIRC, the stylish notch was used to tie the guns to a rack for vertical transport and for use with a shooting stick. :D

I'd be in for a 1-A Lipseys SS bbl., I'll pm Clay

I would be interested. .303 British is the perfect choice of cartridge. I like the idea of the maple stock- not as nice as walnut, but definately Canadian. My personal preference would be a ss action/barrel to accomodate our wet, foggy, snowy weather. A maple leaf and or moose head engraving would be a nice touch. My only personal conflict would be to leave the rifle as is or have it rechambered to .303 Epps?

3 things, anyone check with ruger?
and what is the cost, and what markings will be on the gun, without this info, not many folks will buy into this..
Or is this still very early in the planning:D
Actually this is quite aways along and it looks like it will happen with the help of lipseys in the US. Prices I heard will be in line with a what you would typically pay for a #1...I think I read about 1200$

I would prefer an international in 303 brit. with some nice walnut but would settle for a 1A . let me know and I will send a deposit

Hope this works! attached, (I hope) are 2 photos of what my visualization of the final selection should look like. As discussed by some..my wish is for a Farqhuarson. look alike rifle..not a carbine.
These are photos of a New zealand manufacturer currently setting up and making a clone of the Farq'y. Starting price $14,500 US!

A ruger #1 imitation at or around the $1500.00 Canadian mark, in .303 fits the bill for me. If images don't show, just google the 'sorkorarifles' site for details.
