I am seriously considering buying one of these. Has anyone got out to the range with their yet? If not, what is your general impression of this handgun? I like the idea that you can get a Beretta for the price of a Norinco.

Last night I shot with 2 of them.

Very positive feeling, very accurate, it's a well made high quality pistol.

Barrel, slide and frame are very well fit, no loose there.

Now I know Saddam have made high quality guns.

Has I know, it's only one like this one in Canada.

Yeah, and these ones have squigley written on them! I can tell my friends it says what ever I want: "Christian killing assault pistol" or "personal property of S. Hussein" or my personal favorite "this side toward enemy".

I dont think I would buy a Gun that could have kill people , Bad Karma. Specially for all the wrong reasons

Where do I buy a Taurus for $400 ?

Some weird comments on these threads...
How many nazi rifles and pistols are out there and in collectors hands? Or Japanese rifles, even AKs.

And as far as a gun that has "killed people" well there must be a couple million Lee-Enfields in people's homes. I would gladly buy one of these if I have the dollars kicking around, unfortunately all my guns are currently needed for hunting or have sentimental value, gotta pay the debt.

No different that wanting a Nazi pistol IMO. I wouldn't mind owning either.
Except the Nazis actually had a real army and were a force to be reckoned with. The Iraqi military, on the other hand, was a complete joke. Not sure what sort of historical value there can be in a pistol that was previously issued to some wimpy camel jockey policeman, but to each their own..

they had one of the largest armies in the world at their peak, they just werent prepared for a war against a fully modern army.
