Ok its time for part two of pick the best civil war hand gun. I took the top 5 from the first poll, and put them here, you again have two votes, and two votes only. Now we will see how the votes changes things. There will be a part 3 to this, and if need be, a final part 4.
 
I changed half my vote this time, I still went for the Le Mat, 9 shot with a extra barrel with shot to knock them Yanks off their horses, and I changed from the Colt Walker to the Colt Army.
 
Having two votes that count the same doesn't make alot of sense to me...they cancel each other out.
If I vote Rem 1st and Colt 2nd it amounts to the same thing...

One vote for me- Remington
 
The Rem is ahead buy 3 votes, 78 votes to go, and remember, if your gun did not make it to the final poll, you can knock the rem out of its position eh. Vote la mat lol

I agree and only voted once = Remy 44.
the pol woulda been more realistic if each person had one vote.
 
I just want to give people a choice of two, the best and second best, if it was ment to be, your gun will make the final one, so far seversl guns did not make it here, and it seems 3 more won't make the finall one of two best., consider it like voting for the main patry you want in and then a vote for the opposition party lol

LOL Ya really the only way Colt will stay up there with Remington is by giveing people two Votes.
This is like a liberal Poll set up by a liberal.. :p LOL
You can vote Liberal or CPC but you get two votes sorry to say but it makes no sence to me at least.

Remington won the last POLL why keep haveing POLLs is it just so if we have enough of them and let people vote Twice thats the only way the Colts gona run neck to neck with a 1858.
 
Heres one shoulda been on the frist POLL list a Webley Wedge percussion revolver.

I Just bought this gun a percussion gun and yes there was a few that were used in the Civil war, posibly even this gun as its comeing from the southern USA.
This gun has Webley and Sons on its top strap and was a Real canon its a 5 shot gun tho and uses a wedge just like the colts but has a Top strap if you notice.
Theses guns are very rare tho. only made for two years 1857 to 1859.

Id still choose a Remington 44 over this gun cause of the wedge.
Webley went to a soilid frame after 1859 which woulda been a big improvement.

Nice look kerr, so i see this poll is bringing out the debate lol first time one of my vote more than once got some abuse lol, well when i do the final one, it will be rem and colt, unless some unerdog gun takes the lead lol, than all those who voted for other makes that did not make it will be the deciding factory

No, its a Webley not a Kerr its Webley and sons marked.
Very simalar to Kerr tho i think Webley used the Kerr type Rammer.
Kerr was a Cuz or some Relative to Adams.

Another 54 voters to go, but looks like the final poll with be rem and colt, unless we get 54 voters who vote for the others lol, vote la mat eh lol
 
so in other words battle with a pick up ot a sports car, so the colt is the sports car and the rem the pick up truck

Remember the movie The Patriot with Mel Gibson?.....Near the end the French guy comes out his tent, all dressed up and fancy looking....Mel gives him a funny look, and the French guy says, "Well, if I`m going to die, I`m going to die well dressed".......;)
