As for kabooms, the only two I have seen in person were Ruger double action revolver and 1911. Too much powder in both of them. I have never seen a Glock or Norinco kaboom yet, but I am sure they happen, especially when you double charge the case.
I saw the results of a Marlin lever kaboom in a 45.70 Guide gun, that was settled by threat of lawsuit in the US.
