Anyway you will not be able to find good Chinese one from factory "26" or something. Russian are chrome lined good quality SKS just buy one you will not be sorry about that decision. Nobody is saying that Russian have bad quality. For Chinese ones you always get a mix message. So to be sure go with Russian.

I realize this. My early Chinese actually displays a few Cyrillic Russian markings.

The Russians gave the Chinese parts and tooling, aswell as one on one training. All first year SKS56 are Russian guns minus the stock "dont beleave me well I have one with russian ser# and its /26\![]()
I would say any /26\ pre 1965 are the same quality as any russian.
