Yup, that would be mine after bead blasting before painting.taking a closer look is that yours armedsask?
No.Hey Armedsask....you seem to be the resident expert on these rifles....do you know if something like this will work on the 180b?

Niiice.....hey what kind of sling is that you have there?
At the moment, it is discontinued, though there are hints from Armalite that they are working on improving the design to hopefully relaunch it.Is armalite still making the AR-180B?
As far as I know, there are no stores with new ones in stock, so your best bet would be putting up a want ad in the EE.Do any stores have them in stock?
They seem to be going for between $1200-1500 on average for a used one.How much are they going for now?
This was posted today on Arfcom :
"We're hopeful that we will have the picatinny rail on the upper receiver when it is scheduled to be re-introduced in 2011. We're looking at an aluminum lower as well. Those are the only improvements we're looking at as far as I know. No other information is available at this time.

This is great news! Finally some confirmation that they are going to re-introduce it, instead of just a "We're looking into it".![]()

+1 ~ I for one will be watching for an aluminum lower....I have heard that the polymer lower "hinge" section has been this rifles achiles heel....if it breaks, you are hooped...an aluminum lower would definitely beef that up![]()
