Favourite 22 cal ammo

My Lakefield MKIII and Mossberg 46b(b) both like Federal 525 Bulk packs but I do find a few dud rounds in there. I tried WallyWorld Winchester Dyna-point but I found it to be pretty dirty and tends to stovepipe in the Lakefield.

In most cases we're still cheaper with shipping. That being said if you order one box shipping isn't the greatest.

Isn't shipping from Ontario to Alberta about a dollar per pound? So what does a case of rimfire weigh? I'm thinking the savings can't be that great, but perhaps they are? FS

The Sk Jagd line, owned by Lapua, is hugely succesful in Canada and outshoots all but top level smallbore and BR types. They have, in level of price-quality, Magazine, Standard Plus and Rifle Match, as well as Z Reduced, HP and 2 levels of Pistol Match.

For the most serious matches, there is the new Lapua line-up, Pistol OSP, Centre X, Midas + and X-Act, as well as Polar Biathlon and a few others.

Agree.

American Eagle for plinking.

Lapua Standard Club (now under their 'SK' brand - "SK Standard Plus") for more serious target training. As peterdobson mentioned it's available for <= the premium CCI stuff and much more consistent.

If I end up shooting any benchrest competitions I will probably invest in a brick of Lapua X-Act, but at $250 per 500, it's 'to be used sparingly' to say the least.

three different 22's and they all like different ammo, two are from the same company and are the same model. At the end of the day its not up to me what I like, its up to the gun and it gets what it likes.
