The mags fall out of them

That was a well documented issue with early models when first released. It was a easy fix with a upgraded mag catch. Some other issues had come up at first as well but they have been sorted out.

S&W is starting to get a lot of Law Enforcement contracts with the M&P.

any suggestions of places to get a speed loader? i shot 100 rounds through it and yep raw thumbs for sure, i was impressed with it, could actually hit a silhouette @ 50 yards, not consistantly, but do able.

great gun. do yourself a favor and get a speed loader.... save those thumbs

Get an Uplula from Daves or another sponsor, great mag loader - works with tons of different pistols.

It's true. Mine do at least - every single time i depress the mag release...

I have a M&P 9MM. great gun. no complaints with it what so ever.

A few issues are there is no safety. and sometimes, when the action is locked open and i slam in a loaded mag, the action closes on its own. But that might also be a feature to speed up reloading times.

all ammo i've tried worked great. no stoppages at all.

but yea its a great gun!

1. No need for a safety on a pistol, IMHO, a 'safety' is an inferior design.
2. Normal with most pistols when a mag is inserted with authority. (unfortunately)
