LEBARON now sells sks's

Was into the sauga store with a friend today to pick up a couple sks'. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly. Both the guys in the gunroom were awesome, helped up pick out a couple nice ones, then did all the paperwork super fast. Went up front, asked for the crate of ammo, someone wheeled it up with a cart and offered to bring it out to the truck for us. We carried it outselves, but every single person in that store was EXTREMELY polite and courteous.

Maybe it helps to go in with a positive attitude and a smile on ones face, thats what we did, and I know both my friend and I will be going back there for more ammo and supplies after our VERY positive experience.

my 2 cents :)

Maybe the're reading the comments here on CGN.;)

i was in the Markham store to see if there were primers available. out of stock but ended up buying a laminated russian sks. i have a norc chinese sks, but always wanted a russian laminated. now i got one at a good price. there should be more in stock and i heard they were selling a lot of these.

I bought minr today! and i have to say i can't complain about anything. service was actually good too. thought it was funny when i came to the front the lady said to another one 'look it's another one of those' lol

oh and i bought a laminated one with a silver bolt made in '52 :)

Bought mine recently at Lebaron in montreal. I cleaned it and it seem in good shape (not fired yet). Everyone in the store was polite and helpful. The ammo is cheap 2.54$/10rds. The gun was 203$ tx included.

I pulled the trigger and went to Lebaron in Ottawa today. I got what I expected None in stock and unable to answer any questions about the gun. But other then that they were friendly and I'm on the waiting list. Hopefully I will have my first evil red rifle on Wednesday.

LeBaron SKS - Picked up a couple days ago...

As I said in an earlier post, it's a smoking good deal for $180... I got around to giving it a quick cleaning and re-lube with something other than factory scary oil...

here's a few pics...

I plan on re-stocking it with something synthetic, and ditching the bayonet... Just have to find a source for a new front sight without the lug attached... I don't really want to mill off the existing one...

Post if you find somewhere with a front sight sans bayo lug.

That picture reminded me; all the SKS rifles I've seen at LeBaron's had a shiny crown, like somebody had touched it up. Is this normal? A part of the refurb process?

Thank God

I am so relieved to read all the dirt on the Carrasaga store.

I thought maybe I just brought out the worst in people.

Seems the LeBarron gun store brings out the worst in
people.

Do they actually sell any guns? I treat that awful room
like a Ebola quarantine, enter at your own risk. :feedTroll: :50cal:

They are not the best, but probably not the worst either, some days are better than others

Do they sell guns, sure they do, I have purchased 2 from the store, latest was an SKS, and a crate of ammo, no problems

I knew what I wanted, got it, paid for it and left, no big deal

they have some of the best prices in the area and is relatively close to the gta. the complaints have been going on for years, but they are still in business. you do the math...

The Mississauga location has some new ones. There is a nice appeared to be unissued 1953 in original hardwood stock.

Well, just picked up a 1952 refurbished from Le Baron in Markham. Service was fine. They had actually held it for me until today since I didn't have my PAL yet. I guess its just the miss. store that people are having trouble with. They are sold out of crates of 7.62 though...
