Shot mine earlier today. Whoever mounted the Mepro sight (the visibility of the reticle was better than I thought BTW) needs to get fired. This is going to pull down the reputation of the rifle and the maker of the sight. The sight wobbles when even light pressure is applied to it. Someone else mentioned this as well in another thread. I was hoping that there was some spring or something that would help fix/return the sight in position after recoil/firing. I was wrong.
Got some great groups, but mean point of impacts differed considerably (7-8"). This depended on if the sight was left in it's "up wobble" position prior to firing, or its "down wobble" position, with corresponding impact changes.
Are there some hidden screws somewhere I can tighten to fix this problem? Or do I have to resort to taking the barrel off and spending $$ for a rail and another sight (looks like that's pretty standard SOP anyways
)
Or is there some sort of shim available?
