Got my Response from Kriss

reminds me of this, that whole retro hi tech look:)

Meh,I never found the need to reduce the recoil of a .45ACP,pretty much a low recoiling round to begin with. The UMP/USC are very controllable even with their conventional design, just seems like marketing hype to me.

Would make more sense if they use their system in a self-loading shotgun of some sort. .45 is a low impulse round.

Would be interested if they came out with a standard barrel length, restricted SA version. Though far out of my money-dump range, anyhow...

Not sure why we need a subgun or .45 subgun - since everyone is moving on to PDW with high velocity quasi-rifle rounds anyways.

However, I can see that a full power 10mm version could be more useful than .45.

Yes I still don't know why there isn't a 10mm subgun out there. If there is a pistol round that can get it done its the 10mm.

Hell ya, I'm with you 100%. 10x25mm AUTO is, IMO, the best handgun/subgun caliber. You get the "best-of-both-worlds" in ballistic performance. Almost flat enough trajectory like 9x19mm, and almost as good stopping power as .45 ACP. From a ballistic analysis I read in a magazine about the 10mm, it is basically in same league as the .45 cal. Why it never gained MIL/LEO favor is beyond me. I suppose it has to do something with the FBI canning it for the weaker 10mm variant, .40 S&W.

Tis a shame... :(

The 10mm is beyond the 45acp. It its full power form it is in the league of 41mag and lighter loaded 44 mag in terms of power. It is not being used by law enforcement due the fact that too many of them are of petite stature and cannot handle the recoil and blast of the 10mm.

What he said.

While a 9 is fine, the 10 is for men.:D

Its ugly but still has a "cool' look to it......if its under 1g I'd get it but it won't be so I won't be:p. But I am still glad Canada could be getting this, the more different styles of guns we have the better!!!
