I own two (consecutive serial numbers) Savage 12F in 6mm Norma BR and two custom Rem700 - One on a Nesika Action and one on an RPA action.
The Savages will shoot everybit as well as my custom guns. It comes down to the person pulling the trigger.
I would not discount the Savage target rifles based on price. They are very accurate.
