I can't remember seeing any other Savages besides the sponsored guns either though. Lots of Barnards, BAT, Stolle, and the like.

I own two (consecutive serial numbers) Savage 12F in 6mm Norma BR and two custom Rem700 - One on a Nesika Action and one on an RPA action.
The Savages will shoot everybit as well as my custom guns. It comes down to the person pulling the trigger.
I would not discount the Savage target rifles based on price. They are very accurate.

I am just saying that with the price that SAVAGE put out on there Rifles, the only reason why any one wanted another action custom rifles is would be, because they wanted something different and shoot as good or comparable to that type of Accuracy, other wise stick to SAVAGE, many people on this forum had both like I am and can tell that the quality of Remington had gone down hill since 1990. still remington had produce some of the most accurate rifle in the pass, but time have change!...
