It would seem the people who divided these forums are having some trouble with the concepts or it's their idea of a joke.

How else does one explain a picture thread of o/u and sxs (with a specific request from the OP not to post tactical guns) being in "General Purpose" and the moronic concept of bolting two 870's together being placed the Hunting and Sporting Shotgun forum?

I do not for a minute believe the moderators and administrators are stupid so I can only assume it's an attempt at humour. Joke's on us. :)

Is there anyway of moving some of these threads to the top and having them moved to the proper forum?

It's easy to bump a thread. Getting it moved would require an appeal to the mods.

The most egregious is this one and it leads me to believe it was an attempt at humour by the mods. We may have to mount a rescue mission for this one. ;)

There are also myriad threads with the words "shotty" or "shottie." These words are unsuitable in reference to Hunting and Sporting Shotguns. Time for spring cleaning. :)

Sorry but I thought it was a legimate question. If we are going to have seperate forums, lets put the posts in the correct Forum. I don't mean all of them.

One of the legitimate complaints was that people with a more specific interest didn't want to wade through posts about guns outside of their interests. The Tacticool didn't want to read about duck hunting shotguns and the Fuddz don't care about the latest stubby pump from China.

Seriously? You guys are complaining because now you have to read all 4 words in the sub-forum titles? Really??? And you complain about kids today being lazy... sheesh... :p ;) :D:D:D

Those of us whose reading ability has progressed past the Hop on Pop level read entire groups of words, not individual ones. Scrolling quickly through several pages of forum titles and quickly identifying the desired forum when they're in close proximity and have headings that look similar can cause confusion. I get that a plodder such as yourself might not get that, so maybe this will help you:

No, that's not it. But thanks for putting that much effort into your response. ;) I guess my brain just processes groups of words more effectively and efficiently than some other people's might... :p :D:D There's no point in reading quickly if your comprehension can't keep up.
 
habitual clickers?:confused: We should watch the road when we drive, watch our step when we walk and as responsible shooters we should know our target before we shoot. Should be no problem for you dead eye types to click the right spot?
