Number 465 is in friendly hands. Converted at Long Branch after being well used in .303 by a member of the DCRA Hall of Fame. The donor receiver is a 93L###x which had been Regulated By Fulton previously. Its present condition is a stripped reciever and bolt, with a shorter than original barrel at about 22". There are screw holes for a front sight base.
The conversion was coordinated by Sqn Leader Reynolds who accepted shooter's rifles from across the country. He did some initial inspections, then shipped the assemblage to CA for converting. Apparently, the word got back to the shooter that his rifle was noted by CA's staff as a good one, not the usual second-rifles most shooters sent in hoping for a magic wand treatment.
