+1 for Glock.
Not entirely true. Questar sells sub-compact Glocks like the Glock 26 and 27, they just have an extended barrel to keep them legal with Canadian barrel length laws.Ain't gonna happen. The subcompact stuff is what is called 12-6 class prohibited. As a new RPAL holder you cannot ever get a 12-6 classification unless you have a relative that wills you their prohib gun. And then you can only own THAT prohib gun.
So you're stuck with the full sized handguns like the rest of us new folks from the last 12 years from where the law was put into place.

Get a Smith and Wesson M&P

Get a Smith and Wesson M&P, its a great gun. Don't be another Glock drone!!!
What Taurus are you thinking?24/7 or pt92?
Seeing your requirements Beretta fits perfectly! and they only go for about $750. few years ago it was almost a $1000! FWIW you can't go wrong with one. Sigs are nice but not extra $300+ nice.![]()
