Anyone seen one of these before? I thought id post it because its bit unusual.

the gun called.. Vepr, or Vepr hunter... it is a pure AK variant... so i dont think we'll be seeing it any time soon.... :(
 
With the milled receiver certainly looks like a Valmet M88.

It's actually an "AK Hunter" imported to the US by Interstate Arms Corp in 7.62 x 39.

Norinco made a version too, not sure how the two differ. With the milled receiver rear sights on the dust cover, a bunch were turned into Galil clones.
 
This one is a norinco, its here & its prohib. Anyone know the value of something like this? Im thinking of selling & i want to know a fair price.

Not that it's a guage but if you export to the US, would be worth $350-$500 and a bunch more if it was converted to a Galil.

Hard to tell what 12.5 demand would be here. Value is likely depends on how bad an individual wants one as a safe queen is his collection rather than the market as a whole.
 
Well, I probably wont be hunting with it, Even though its called a hunter! 12/5 only lets me collect it, not even shoot it. But hey, its very different. I was just thinking of selling it & passing it on to another collecter.
