Why do i have a sneaky suspicion that the rcmp or the liberal douche bags would start yelling something about #### wolves and fn fal varient tied in with some rambling of public saftey hulabaloo

I'm not going to hazard a guess at the answer to this.

I just want to point out the AWESOMENESS of your post - you managed to construct a sentence that used "douche bags," "#### wolves" and "hullabaloo."

That, Sir, is an EPIC win.

That rifle bears a little resemblance to the M96 that Robinson put out. Obviously some design cues from the Stoner and the AR made it in their. I do like it.

It's almost like the Stoner 63 was designed by a guy named Stoner. Wait, didn't a guy named Stoner design the AR15, AR16, AR18?

That being said, they have no design commonality.

No plans at KAC to build it, it and the AR18 suffer a lot of flaws that just are not worth putting the time into to fix.

If a huge government order was a possibility, then maybe...

They are Museum pieces, but are "reference library' items, so we do shooting things. I've never shot one, but I have seen one shot, not my cup of tea.

His 7.62mm version of the 63A is fairly interesting, I can't recally if its the M73 or what.

Well, Stoner was on the design team for the AR10 & AR15, but he showed up late on the AR10 project, and IIRC he was already gone for the AR16 and AR18 projects.

I think that the "common thread guy" you're thinking of was James Sullivan...

I picked up a copy of a old 1962 firearms magazine at a antique store while on vacation in Indiana.
Guess what rifle was being tested and was featured on the cover ?Yes, the AR16 !
I had to buy that one and read it a couple times .They did have a couple FTF in the testing of it but it was attributed to the rifle firing too many rounds and a defective magazine.

Dude - Stoner made the first AR10 in his garage, we have it in our Museum. James Sullivan was involved in some of the AR15, but his main claim to fame was going to Singapore and doing their Ultimax.
A lot more in credited to Sullivan than should be for the AR stuff.
