4.6x30 is a dead-end. Without the UCP on the civilian market, it will never generate a large enough market.

Someone needs to make a machine-pistol that uses five-seven mags. A modern version of the Colt SCAMP, if you will.

Developed by H&K for the NATO PDW competition, ditto for the 5.7x28. General consensus seems to be the 5.7 is the better round, but the German MoD objects (hmm wonder why) so NATO has never managed to get a STANAG for it.

They've been on the EE before. I don't think there are too many in civi hands but they are out there. There were almost a bunch more not that long ago but the agency selling them changed their minds.

H&K will sell small numbers of them for use as prop guns (free advertising) and the German Govt. will issue export licences for that apparently, and there is a semi-auto version so that's one way they sometimes get into private hands. And the odd dealer sample.
