As a follow up to my first thread on load testing with my 12FV in 22-250:

Conditions finally coincided with my time and I got out friday night to test some refined loads with IMR4064 and a first run with IMR4895. Both loads used a 50gr. V-Max bullet and an OAL of 2.450". Testing was done at 200yds this time, the longest I can get on my range at the moment.
I had to split the target sheet in half with the pics to keep enough detail.
Refined test with 4064, left half of the sheet:
Right half:
The 36.7gr load looks very good to me, I plan to do one more refinement, with 5 shot groups at 36.6, 36.7 and 36.8gr to see if there is any more to come. Even if I can't improve it, that is a 1/4MOA load (assuming it continues to perform the same as in this test) and I never imagined I would get close to that. Yotes and gophers, beware!
The initial test with 4895, left half of sheet (ignore the POI shift between #1, 2 and 3, I added a few clicks to get the groups centered better):
Right half:
I think I will have to redo the whole traverse in 0.2 increments and see if there is a node or two hiding in there, from what I can see with all the clocking of the groups, my initial 0.5gr increment looks too coarse and I may have missed the sweet spot in there somewhere. It does look like 35.0gr has serious promise, being very close to 1/4MOA at this point.
I have to say, I am extremely happy with the rifle, I never expected this kind of performance for the price. About the only thing I would improve is the stock, it is pretty flimsy and requires care in my technique to not muscle it into place and screw up the groups.
Any thoughts, experiences, comments on the testing and where I should go from here are welcome.
