3-Gun in Peace River, Results (sorta) and pics!!! Tons and tons of pics!

I just want to thank Stevo and everyone else at the match for the great hospitality and a well run event.
Interesting stages, acrobatics, and amazing weather... what more can you ask for.

It was too much fun and a great addition to my trip.

Thanks again to those who lent my friend and I their equipment.
If I happen to be there for the next event, I'll be sure to bring my own and give you guys a real run for your money.

Thanks again,

Paul

It was great. I highly recommend it to everyone. I had a blast. Despite my scope being waaay out there was no laughing and finger pointing. You know you are doing bad when your SO timer grabs an extra mag for you because you ARE goinig to run out! Thanks Gregg. It was very interesting and my specatators found it fun too. I'll be there next time and try to be faster.
By the way, could you photoshop off that gut for me next time. The camera apparently adds 40 or so pounds....doesn't it?
If anyone is thinking of going next time, you will have fun. Very explanative and forgiving when I made a mistake.(or 3) Bring slings for your long guns though. I had to borrow one. Thanks big guy. Hope your foot gets better real soon.
I will also bring my M-305 so there is more than one entry in the big centerfire catagory.
Thanks guys for putting it on for us.
Usually when I go to the range I'm the only one there... but this has shown me that most things are more fun when you have more than only you there.

Paul,
It was great to meet you and Nick. Glad you had fun and I hope we see you again sometime when you're out west.

Colin,
The camera seems to do the same thing to me! Bring some buddies up with you next time. Then you'll have a group to start running them in Whitecourt.;)

Wicked Shoot it was! big thanks to Greg and Stevo for putting this match together, and thanks to the sponsors! Can't wait for the next one... Peace River range is a beauty!

Thanks for coming over and your sponsorship. Next time we'll put flashing lights near the targets to help you find them.w:h:

Shotgun ammo?

All you have to do is show up at our next one. It's not that expensive to give it a try. Round count was less than 50 pistol, 50 shotgun, 75 rifle and entry fee was $20. We had 3 or 4 guys show up with virtually no gear or guns and got them set up with loaner stuff. BBQ lunch and all the Gatorade and water you could drink was included.

We had a shooter come from Slave Lake, two from Fort St. John, BC, two from Grande Prairie, one from Calgary and pauls stopped in on his holidays, and he's from Toronto.

I'd estimate that almost half of the shooters were at their first 3 gun match.

It is pretty sweet.

What type of shotgun ammo is used in these comps? ie. slugs, buckshot or birdshot? Cheers Roscoe Looks like fun!
