M4 carbines

The nice thing about a BlackBerry is that you can great your own auto-text shortcuts in the options menu. For example, you can set it up so that when you type "u" you get "you". I have created my own entire shorthand language on my BB, full of 2 and 3 letter abbreviations which makes typing a breeze, but it always comes out looking like a proper sentence, complete with real words. :)

I keep procrastinating setting that up. It is a good idea.

"dont get defensive unless you feel you got something to hide"

Strange attitude indeed, I have nothing to hide, my friend.... I think you now have a much better idea of how these rumors get started....

"people just want answers as to why they should give you there money not someone who can give it quicker, for something other then a "promise the same brand of gun will be better"
I thought I had explained this a few times, I am NOT prepared to divulge what we have learned so our so called competition may take advantage of our hard earned knowledge....No matter how friendly the gun business is....

"So you're saying that the springs on the M4 are bad and you waited to have all of them changed and upgraded properly on your shipment? "
When did I say that ??

I am simply stating that someone appears to have not a spring problem....

Yes it was one of the issues discussed.

Maybe the thread should be closed. This is getting silly now. You posted a link that at the time had two posts in which one stated a rumour that there are weak springs? Nobody attested to this and now all the subsequent posts on that thread have people stating that this is news to them. Too much of the pot calling the kettle black around here as you are saying "I REST MY CASE" on this type of post? Ridiculous as now you are quoting a rumour post to "REST YOUR CASE". By the way you have been here long enough to learn how to use the quote feature.

To all the Marstar nuthuggers that are going to blast me, take it easy. I have bought from Marstar before and will buy again. Unless I get refused. :p

Well, you didn't say much of anything. That's why I asked the question. So you comment about a previous poster who dismisses one set of rumours and then you question why he propogates another rumour? Then you point to another thread with a rumour and leave it hanging. As you said "how interesting".

As per the thread that you reference, the OP stated that he heared anecdotally about a spring problem. Hew did not say he had a problem. This was then countered by numerous people stating that they have not experienced any issues with springs, so it seems that is not the problem or at least it is minimal or contained to a single or small batch of rifles. Only the OP can let us know who he heard this from. You also infer that there are other potential issues that may cause problems and that the springs was only one issue, or am I reading that incorrectly?

So back to my original question: Where the springs changed/corrected/proven to not be one of the problems?

Thanks

I don't think we will ever hear what if anything is "wrong" with the other rifles but whatever. Everyone has a choice of where to spend their money and waiting or not these are great rifles at an amazing price. I have had mine to the range 3 times over 300 rounds so far and mine and everyone elses seems to function perfectly. Whenever these get in I am sure they will all sell out, he'll maybe I will even buy another!

no wonder its taking tie to get the rifles, john's on here all the time explaining himself

OK, now your answers are just getting silly...

I'm done with this thread.

I can't speak for anyone else but for me the only issue with Marstar is the almost never ending waiting times. Excellent products but todays consumers expect and deserve good information on delivery times. I will wait a long time for a given product on a given date--but the date can't keep changing or I will shop elsewhere

"but the date can't keep changing or I will shop elsewhere "

I fully understand your frustration, we can only tell you what we are in turn told by our suppliers....
Perhaps you would be kind enough to offer a solution to the problem of the various producers coming up with delays, government officials who delay export and transit documents, shipping companies who delay our loading dates ????
We are open to suggestions....

Here is a suggestion, do not offer any product for sale until you have it in your hands, then all these problems go away................

Marstar is not offering these guns for sale, are they? They simply notified us that they were in transit and gave us the opportunity to put our names on a waiting list. How ####ing hard is that to figure out?
