Whenever The topic of firearms comes up in conversation, I always mention that I collect Millsurp and am always interested in buying. Last weekend I was up to the hunt camp and one of the members took ownership of his dads guns and since he has no interest in millsurp he brought me up 3 guns.

First is a Swedish Verttelli? Looks all original, but a little rough.

It has 2 features that I havent seen before. First the cocking peice has no serrations for gripping and all steel is partialy covered in some sort of green paint that from what I have read was applyed after the war for rust protection. The third rifle is a bubba built No1 Mk3 so I dident bother to take pics.
Anyhow all 3 for $150. I have filled a small cabnet with millsurps using the tell everyone you know you collect method and this was a nother great example how good it can work. I thing they will be happy in there new home and enjoy swapping war stories with there new friends.
