Marstar`s Yugo M48BO?

They are as good as any Yugo M48 and the ones at Marstar are unissued. They typically shoot VERY well, though fit and finish is not as good as a 1942 or earlier German Mauser, certainly nicer than a late-war K98 though.

I got mine 2 years ago with a case of Yugo 8mm to go along. Put 300 down the pipe now, no issues at all. I did file and polish the bolt some, but I don't feel bad about it at all =)

I got one several months ago . It had a few issues. Sent it back & got a replacement no questions asked & they covered the shipping both ways . ( It did take a wile though)
What was wrong with it?
My father and I both have one and they fire quite well. With modern ammunition I can get a grouping under 4 inches at 100 meters. With yugo surplus 1954 ammunition it shoots high with less consistancy, but that's vintage hot munitions for you.

It doesn't matter where it was actually purchased, they all came from Marstar.
BTW, that's a purdy one.It's possible the wood is factory refinished. A good few of the M48's we got up here were actually refurbs.
If you take the barelled action out of the stock and look on the barrel, there is a 3 digit number stamped on the barrel shank. There is also a 3 digit number under the bolt. These are assembly numbers. If those numbers are different, the gun's been rebuilt.
There are other indicators, but it's easier to tell if you can see the gun in person.

The PO stripped all the cosmo off and then refinished the stock with Tung oil, I believe. It is very well done and I am very happy with my new 60 year old Mauser.
A while ago I lucked into a stash of surplus 8x57 and it shoots beautifully in this rifle. Definitely a lot warmer than commercial 8x57, too. The really hot AP 8x57 must be interesting to shoot in one of these.

I shoot Yugo milsurp with a slip over butt pad. I know it's not manly, but there it is. Not so bad standing, but more than I can handle off the bench.
