Another successful 2 day 1000 metre (1094 yards) shoot was held by the Osoyoos Wildlife Federation this past weekend. Some excellent shooting performances were recorded in spite of the usual strong, changeable winds and heavy mirage conditions. The shoot was well attended with a total of 79 scores being recorded. Our range is at an altitude of 4,000 ft and we use the NRA 600 yard target. The relatively small 6" X ring usually limits the number of shoot-offs to determine a winner.
