KevinB's SR-25 EMC...

Hi Kevin,

Nice rifle, would you mind posing with it to show us you hand placement with regards to the forward grip, i would also be interested in knowing who makes the one you have on your rifle.

Do you abide by the "thumb break method" ? See link below.

I am wondering if my offhand shooting would improve if i changed my forward grip position and also modified the way i grip the forestock with my hand.

Your best bet is the LMT LM308MWS.
As a bonus, the upper is in a better configuration (imo).
I don't think you're going to piece together a .308 AR

You may be correct. However I am contiunally surprised to what an individual can accomplish if one truly puts their mind to the task at hand.

I want one bad. Probably going to cost 6-10k though ugh. Oh well might have to sell some other toys to get one if they manage to get an export permit for them again. Would be nice if they had a 20 inch upper for them as well.

I like the hand stop Kev, and obviously the rifle. Very nice.
Exportable?

So it is a hand stop that also has a (qd) sling attachment as well ?

Found a pic on Knights Armament site but no listing for the item ...

I would appreciate more information as well.

The rail is 12.5" - the rifle length one off the M110 SASS.
For some reason our web folks botched the length of the rail.

The handstop is P/N 25460
It was originally 'backwards' on the PDW to ensure people did not shoot their fingers off, however it has gotten a big following to run the way I set it up.

Possible but extremely hard.

A good thread on that on ARF.com

I assembled the rail and the barrel to the upper for him.

However in Canada, it gets really tough on the individual to buy individual components.

I'm really surprised no one is making a SR-25 pattern gun in Canada.

I've seen billet lowers for AR10's - but IMHO anyone not doing the SR-25 mag design is crazy as at least down here you have the PMAG-LR and you get a reliable cheap mag easily.

+1, I had an AR10 for awhile and ditched it due to the mags, ~$80 for mags that
don't feed for sh!t doesn't appeal.

Geez, might just have to dust off that old solid model I had started working on.... :p

Well don't let me stop you!!

I have been telling you guys, a billet lower that will take 308 pmags will sell.

but then again what do I know right....................

I am not familiar with that one, care to elaborate??

Thx

AbH

Based on 243 Winchester, slightly shorter with a relaxed shoulder for feeding and extraction. Similar balistics without burning the barrel up in a couple of thousand rounds.

Sorry for the hijack! I'll stop now.
