Has anyone "Pimped" a Yugo SKS?

The yugo or any sks for that matter will never be worth anything, so do whatever you please to them. People may laugh at you, but I laugh when people think these things are rare collectors items.

Not long ago some folks said the same about Enfields and German Mausers ...Now what are they worth?

Priced well above what they first started at that's where.

You have things to learn..... Not all the sks are rare collector items that's true but some changes during their productions, year and condition make differences even if peoples dont say that. Try to find a 1949 with original slim stock in the bayonet area with the spike bayo ofc. somes peoples would kill to have 1, me first:rolleyes:

SKS values may increase in the future, but I don't expect it will be a drastic increase for the vast majority of the SKS's out there. It always comes down to supply and demand. A few years ago the Russian SKS's were worth about double what they are today. Then last year thousands and thousands of Russian SKS's were imported and the prices dropped.
It's true that many of these rifles are not being made anymore, but that doesn't mean there won't be many, many more imported to Canada in the foreseeable future. As long as supply keeps up I think people are better off shooting and enjoying them. If that means customizing, so be it.

Buy yeah, I also support the idea of buying two. Leave one completely stock and cover the other with accessories or flowers or banana stickers or whatever makes you happy.

K.O.

^ Sure just not a Yugo version, they are not common. :D

This reminds me of the Albanian SKS that I handled a few years ago at a gunstore ...in one of those plastic dragonov knock of stocks no less.

It even still had the funky unique wooden forearm upper guard (painted black) and the AK style charging handle, sigh...

Well I wonder when Marstar is bringing in that huge SKS shipment I read about a while ago...and what types of SKS there will be.
