Is the Norinco M-93 Woodsman/Sportsman 22 copy a decent pistol for $150?

Also, is there anywhere to get Cheap Magazines for this pistol as $40/each seems a little pricey!

I would be very appreciative of your feedback!

Been thinking the same thing myself. Mind every review I've seen on here has been positive, with the usual Norinco reliability and ugly looks. Hell, for $150 who cares what it looks like eh? :D

The only thing I would caution on the M-93 is that like the original, they are a small gun.
If you have big hands they feel it a little small.

Other than that they are well worth the money.

Mine was a great gun when I paid $198 for it - it'll be even better at $150. :D
Yes, they are kinda small but it firs my girly man hands so I like it.
I have yet to have FTF or jamb with mine, unlike my considerably more expensive non Norinco semi.
Buy it, you'll like it.

Which is exactly why I bought one...its great for smaller statured shooters. Many of the people I introduce to shooting can't get their hands around a 686 or anything with a double-stacked magazine.

I bought one for my wife.

Sounds like a great swap! :D

i have 2 and love shooting them just dont ever touch the spring in the slide when you have it apart for cleaning or you'll have something to do for the next 45 minutes

M-93 PISTOLS;
We have sold several thousand, extremely popular pistols....

Just had another run made at the factory, we began receiving more last week, have begun shipping....

Really a fun gun, feed it anything and have fun
John

I like mine so much I'm thinking of getting another one just to have a spare.

BTB, mine is stamped "Sportsman"

I'm at about 6000 rounds down the pipe, and I don't ever recall a jam or feed problem, with any brand of ammo! It is also incredibly accurate!;)

Thought I would update my status on this pistol.

I ordered one and received mine in the mail last week and took it out yesterday for the first time.

I put about 300 rounds through it and had about 10-12 misfires. The Bullet was hit by the firing pin but no explosions(I didn't try any of the misfires twice either). I don't think it is the ammo cause I never have had any misfires in my rifle with the same ammo.

Not sure if anyone else with a M-93 has had that many misfires or not. Let me know what you are all experiencing for yourselves.

Thanks!
