I have been hearing the clamour from the lowermainland crowd ever since i decided to abandon you all for the much slower pace and cleaner air of the B.C. Interior ;)

so wait no more...... I have the Trap house at the Port Coquitlam Rod and gun club booked for december 11, 2010. Range time will be a very good possibility and I'll have more details on that as the date approaches.
There will be a 35.00 fee (payable by EMT or canada post money order) to cover costs of the location and my travel expense to drive down. If there is extra to pay for range use it will be based on POCO's day card fee which i think is 20.00 but i'll get the facts on that and update this post as need be.

This will be a full day clinic full of learning and tweaking and hopefully some shootin ;) I will have all the M14 specific tools and gauges on hand for anything we encounter (except barrel chops). I will be also trying to get TonyG and his TIG machine onsite for unitizing gas assemblies

what to bring:
rifle, accessories, parts to install, tools and literature, pen paper, camera, grease, solvents, punches, hammers, files....... work mate benches....... munchies, M14 related items to trade or sell ect. (on that note, I do not bring stocks and such as I do not use these events to market my business/products, but feel free to bring items you wish to sell, CGN EE rules apply)

so, the list forms below. please p.m. me to confirm your spot.
please include your CGN handle and name in the senders message with your payment.

So, are folks from south of the border welcome? and if so what kind of hassle do I have to prepare for at the border?

more than welcome, we'd be pleased to have you join us.
not sure how busy he is but our good friend powmia56 comes up frequently to join us for clinics. I'm not sure about how you would go about bringing a rifle..... maybe a springfield ..... but they probably would not let a chinese rifle back into the states even if it came up from there legally..... then again i could be talking out my @ss LOL. contact powmia56 and i'm sure he would have far better advice than I. regardless you are welcome to join us ;)

Mine is a SA so that shouldn't be a problem. I'm getting all the paper work rounded up now ---doesn't sound like its gonna be that big of a hassle I will need an address to put on the Canadian form, but I'll get that later after I balance my schedule and get signed up

I'll be offline for a few days starting this afternoon, p.m.'s and emails will be answered once my computer is back online.

I'm in. Tom, bring my stock. :)

Looks like if you let the webmaster know he can put the event on their calendar. Might generate some more interest.

What if all we have is a rifle? I have tools but they are at my permanent residence up North, since I am only here for school. Would this still be beneficial?

HELL YA!
Bring your rifle and don't worry about tools because powmia56 said he was coming and that gun nutter has every tool know to man kind for the M14.
See Ya there

Good 1. I'll tell the lazy @$$ web master to do that this weekend. ;)

for those without tools, no worries...... that's why we do these clinics. We will have the full array of m14 specific tools, grease, cleaning products, ect.... and possibly the TIG machine for unitizing gas system unitizing for those wanting that done.

I'm a total gun Noob, but I've got an Norinco M14 on the way. I'm pretty keen on learning as much about it as possible - I'm thinking this clinic would be a good crash course?
Or should I be putting a few(thousand :D) more rounds through my gun first?
