We'll shoot this using ODPL rules re HG's, but divisions will be determined a little differently... Because of the long guns.

Tac Irons: no optics on either rifle or SG.

Tac Optics: optic on at least one long gun.

Heavy Metal: .30 cal rifle, 12 ga SG

He-Man: .30 cal rifle, 12 ga pump, .45acp HG. Only

I think that's them...

Newbie friendly..?

Yes.

Qualifications..?

See www.odplonline.org but generally you must be what we refer to as "holster qualified"

Ammo count.... Yet to be determined

That's good to know, so the IDPA holster course is fine then.

Drop leg holsters allowed?

Fair question since they are not allowed in IDPA, hard to conceal and all.

Uh.... Sure.

It's after labour day though so no white pants. Match DQ.

Also, good to know.

How to pre register? And are the rifles and shotguns carried on person or staged?

Yes... The IDPA course is acceptable.

Fair question since they are not allowed in IDPA, hard to conceal and all.

This isn't an IDPA match. http://www.odplonline.org/home/rules/

How to pre register?

See post #1 this thread...

are the rifles and shotguns carried on person or staged?

Well... Carried while firing for sure. Otherwise staged as per CoF.

To simplify I've stripped down the whole classification thing... No "He-Man" class. Just Open, Tac- Irons and Tac-Optics.
Bsically your long gun will determin your class.. No "open" for HG's
