BIG HORN ARMS, .22rf short, single-shot, estimated 1200 made in early 1960s by Big Horn Arms Co. of Watertown, South Dakota. The box they came in was a complex angular item designed to fit, with woodgrain finish, and a neat little plastic carrying handle in the large end.

I get some very interesting comments from people who have never seen one before! It's a real conversation piece...

Ive got 2 10/22s now. A customized carbine heavy barrel with big optics, stock bipod. lots of vq parts, but its not actually my favorite. Sure i can hit tangerines with it at 100 yrds but I never really use it. Below is my plinker and the one that i go to all the time now. Its just much more universal.
My other one is already for sale.

My Ruger 10/22 Target Tactical with a Tasco 3-9x32mm scope I picked up tonight (the scope, not the gun). This is my first "real" gun (I've shot my dad's .22 and my own .177 airgun casually for some time), and while I doubt I'll ever be a good enough shot to justify the heavy barrel, I like the look

Here's my wk old 10/22VLEH with Leupold 1-4 20mm and Burris Zee rings.
So far 300rnds without a problem. Very happy with the setup.

That model 10/22 is probably the nicest factory variants. Very usable, practical rifle. Is your SIG also in 22LR ? A fitting companion piece ! Make sure that spread doesn't get stained with gun oil .

Just came back from the range and put another 150 flawless rounds through the VLEH. Bought a 25rnd Butler Creek mag(steel lips/grey tint) on the way to the range and it was literally a blast!
The SIG's a p220 Combat in 45ACP(new to me). She loves getting her picture taken

Here's mine. Mossberg 144 LSB, just finished refinishing the stock and a reblue of the barrel and action.

My Ultimate 10/22 I built (only Ruger part is the magazine).

CZ 452 Varmint. The scope has been replaced with a Weaver T36.
