I have a greener police martini action that I,m installing a rifled 12 gauge barrel on . I,m planning on turning it into a replica of a victorian era 12 bore rifle, I,ll post pictures when it,s done ( could be a while , ha ). As to recoil , I had an old greener sporting martini in 16 gauge , felt recoil was about the same as any single shot light weight shotgun , a bit thumpy. If we're looking at the same gun, the full length stock will add some weight up front and help with the recoil. These guns also have a safety which (I think ) is an improvement over the military actions. If its in good shape 350 seems to be quite reasonable for unique piece of firearms history
